Terms of Service

Welcome to Corio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Corio mobile application ("Corio", "the app", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Corio, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Corio is an iOS application that helps runners track workouts and analyze recovery data sourced from wearable devices (Oura Ring, WHOOP, Apple Watch) and Apple HealthKit. The app provides readiness scores, training analytics, GPS run tracking, and social features.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Corio. By using the app, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data from Corio or its users.
• Use the app for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or networks.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or data.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before:

• Starting a new exercise program
• Making decisions based on biometric data shown in the app
• Interpreting heart rate, HRV, sleep, or readiness metrics
• Using the app if you have any pre-existing medical condition

Use Corio at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or harm resulting from your use of the app or reliance on its data.

Corio integrates with third-party services, including:

• Oura Ring API — to read your readiness, sleep, and HRV data
• WHOOP API — to read your strain and recovery data
• Apple HealthKit — to read heart rate, sleep, and workout data
• Supabase — for secure backend storage and authentication

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, accuracy, or uptime, and we are not responsible for their actions or data practices. Your use of these services through Corio is subject to their respective terms.

Corio's application code, design, branding, "CORIO" name, and all related materials are the property of Yevhenii Marendych and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Your data remains yours. You retain ownership of all run records, biometric data, and personal content you contribute to Corio.

By using Corio, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the app's functionality (e.g., showing your dashboard, syncing across your devices, enabling social features you opt into). We do not sell, license, or share your data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

Corio may offer optional premium features via in-app purchase or subscription through the Apple App Store. If you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage and cancel subscriptions in your iOS device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies.

By you: You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data from our servers.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in conduct that harms other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corio and Yevhenii Marendych shall NOT be liable for:

• Any injury, illness, or harm resulting from use of the app or reliance on its data.
• Loss of data, run records, or any other content.
• Service interruptions or downtime of Corio or its third-party integrations.
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Corio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corio and Yevhenii Marendych from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification or email. Continued use of Corio after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine, except where prohibited by your local law.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
