Corio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Health data — heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep stages, readiness score, SpO2, stress metrics, and activity data synced from your Oura Ring or Apple Health.
• Account information — email address, display name, and profile photo (optional).
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, features used, and performance diagnostics.
• Device information — device model, iOS version, and app version.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Corio app experience
• To display your health metrics and recovery trends
• To enable social features (comparing metrics with friends you choose to connect with)
• To send you notifications about your recovery and training (if enabled)
• To diagnose and fix technical issues

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (cloud infrastructure) with row-level security. Health data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With friends you explicitly connect with in the Community tab (only the metrics you choose to share)
• With service providers who help us operate the app (Supabase for database hosting)
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — export all your data from Settings → Export My Data
• Delete your account and all associated data — Settings → Delete Account
• Correct inaccurate information — edit your profile at any time
• Opt out of notifications — adjust in iOS Settings → Notifications → Corio

6. Health Data (Apple HealthKit)

If you grant access to Apple HealthKit, we read health data only for the purpose of displaying it within Corio. We do not share HealthKit data with third parties for advertising or other purposes unrelated to health and fitness.

7. Children's Privacy

Corio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
